Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II

The Public Works Department is currently recruiting a Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II to join the Operations Division. This is a non-exempt position, represented by Local 39 IUOE. The schedule is Monday – Thursday, 5:30am – 4:00pm. This position must be willing to participate in the on-call rotation after successfully completing probation and obtaining a commercial driver’s license.
Under immediate and general supervision of the Streets Operation Supervisor, the Public Works Maintenance Worker I/II performs a variety of semi-skilled construction, maintenance, modification and repair activities in the Streets division and performs related work as required.
