See the equipment. Tour the shop. Talk shop with your peers.
The APWA Sacramento Chapter Operations & Maintenance Committee invites public works O&M professionals from throughout the Sacramento region to join us for our Fall Demo Day on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at the Yolo County Department of Community Services in Woodland.
This is an informal, open-house-style event designed for operations and maintenance professionals. Stop by anytime between 9:00 a.m. and noon, stay for a few minutes or stay for the whole morning, and connect with fellow public works professionals while checking out equipment, facilities, and real-world O&M practices.
What’s on the agenda?
- Tour the recently remodeled Yolo County sign shop
- See a PB Loader Patching Truck and talk with a manufacturer representative
- Connect with Yolo County Public Works staff about equipment, procedures, and day-to-day O&M challenges
- Network with O&M professionals from other agencies
- Additional equipment and demonstrations to be announced!
Whether you’re looking for ideas for your agency, interested in seeing equipment in action, or simply want to meet other people who understand the day-to-day realities of public works maintenance, come by and see what’s happening in the field.
