Please join APWA Sacramento Chapter for a presentation by City of Sacramento staff on the design, construction, and operation of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, and some lessons from the City of Sacramento’s EV Blueprint Project. The team will detail strategic siting priorities, such as proximity to power and cellular connectivity, while emphasizing strict adherence to accessibility requirements in public-facing chargers. Beyond technical installation and grading, the presentation covers operational essentials like signage, project costs, operational usage and maintenance.
