APWA Young Professionals
APWA Young Professionals (YP) provides a space for early-career public works professionals to connect, learn, and grow within the APWA community. Through networking, professional development, and service opportunities, YP supports the next generation of public works leaders across the public and private sectors.
Who We Are For
YP is open to APWA members who are early in their careers, typically under age 35 or within their first 10 years in the profession. Students and emerging professionals interested in public works are also welcome to participate.
What We Do
Throughout the year, YP hosts a variety of opportunities designed to build connections and support professional growth, including networking events, technical tours, mentorship initiatives, leadership development, and community service activities.
