Field Tour: Please join us for a site visit of the Sycamore Trail Pedestrian Overcrossing.   The second of three deck pours is tentatively scheduled on this day.  This activity is weather dependent.  In the event the deck pour gets canceled, a portion of the completed deck and a portion of the prepped deck for the concrete pour will still be part of the tour.

The Sycamore Trail Pedestrian Overcrossing Project is part of the City’s larger Sycamore Trail project whose primary goal is to provide ADA accessible low-stress vehicular separated route across US50/Business 80 to foster an increase in bicycle and pedestrian trips. Currently residents, workers, and students must navigate through high volume roadways to get to schools, employment centers, transit stops including the West Sacramento Transit Center near West Capitol Avenue in the Central Business District. When finished, the project will provide pedestrian scale lighting, picnic table, refuse furnishing, strategic tree plantings and landscaping amenities.

Space will be limited to 10 ppl.  Lunch will be provided after the tour.  Please plan for 2-3 hours for this tour.

Please contact Lacey Smith at lsmith@unicoengineering.com to confirm your spot and get further instructions for the site visit.
