Gregory B Taylor, AIA, LEED AP |

Mr. Taylor is a Supervising Architect responsible for design and implementation of the Sacramento Valley Station (SVS) project area, owned by the City of Sacramento and administered through the Department of Public Works. From 2012 to 2017, he led a $36 million rehabilitation (with $15 million TIGER Grant) to the historic Sacramento Valley Station, which received such honors as the California Preservation Foundation Trustees Award and certified as LEED Platinum from the US Green Building Council. In 2017, Mr. Taylor led a four-year process to develop the SVS Area Plan for a regional station hub and urban community which will be built as a zero-carbon district under the Living Community Challenge framework of the International Living Futures Institute (ILFI). The Plan recently attained Vison Plan Compliance from ILFI with the City of Sacramento the first municipality to attain this certification. Concurrent with the implementation of major elements of the SVS plan, Mr. Taylor is leading the City’s plan to transform the governance of the city-owned facility into a joint-agency structure that can better sustain the anticipated growth in transit services and land development. Mr. Taylor received his Master of Architecture in Urban Design from Harvard University and the Bachelor of Architecture from California State University, San Luis Obispo. | ![]() |
