NPWW Member Agency Activity Stipend

Purpose

The National Public Works Week (NPWW) Member Agency Activity Stipend is intended to provide funding to Member Agencies via a competitive stipend process to offset some, if not all, of the activities held by an agency during NPWW.

Goal

To provide stipends to Sacramento Chapter Member Agencies to help offset their activities and promotion of NPWW within their agency.

Eligibility/Requirements

1. Agency must be a current member of the APWA Sacramento Chapter (Group Membership) or have a minimum of five (5) current APWA Sacramento Chapter individual members from their Agency.
2. Only one application per Member Agency per year, regardless of number of departments.
3. Stipend funds are to be used only for the purpose of NPWW activities and may be applied towards multiple activities or events.
4. Within one month of the Agency’s final event, stipend recipients must be submitted to the NPWW Stipend Committee including a summary with photographs, highlighting their NPWW activities and how the stipend funds were used.
5. Possibly give a brief presentation of the Agency’s NPWW activities during an APWA luncheon (if asked by the Stipend Committee).
